Sustainable finance taxonomies
Sustainable finance taxonomies
In this webinar hosted by ISKO, Neural Alpha experts James Phare and Dan Burke-Ward highlighted the topic of connected data and semantic technologies, and how we inject these technologies into traditional financial services requirements like portfolio management and risk management. James and Dan presented some of our partnerships’ projects over the last six years and introduced our sustainable investment Knowledge Graph called Responsible Capital. This is particularly important for taxonomies in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) space, especially in relation to industry classification taxonomies, regulatory taxonomies, and industry-led sustainable finance taxonomies. James and Dan emphasised the importance of integrating and leveraging these taxonomies for interoperability and connecting various data types, such as unstructured data from regulatory filings and news reports, as well as structured data from scores, ratings, and facility ownership. Our experts concluded the presentation by showing how taxonomies enhance the knowledge graph architecture and assist in processing and structuring data for meaningful insights.
