Working closely with visual design and frontend developers MG Strategy & Design Neural Alpha developed a sophisticated backend infrastructure powering an exciting new transparency initiative for protecting tropical forests called Lucida.

Working alongside a global multidisciplinary team of Economists, environmental researchers and communications professionals Neural Alpha delivered the Lucida database, ETLs and API for powering advanced supply chain and deforestation analysis.

The platform provided unprecedented transparency highlighting illegal forest conversion and unsustainable land use. Using cutting edge visualisations and other interactive tools the platform enabled civil society actors to investigate leading actors driving deforestation.

To deliver comprehensive data engineering capabilities for financial and environmental data for companies and physical assets linked to tropical agriculture in high risk locations including concession locations, ownership structures and financing structures.
